4th of July

I know - same ole thing! But I love it. Some people at the parade came up to Adrianna and asked if she wanted to break a board (some sort of kung fu) and she did it! The races were great Meg (1/2 mile), Will (1/4 mile), Jessica and I (3.1 mile). We watched the parade, did the slip and slide with only one wounded participant (Tyler) and had the traditional BBQ. It was a wonderful day.

Will's Kindergarten Program

Will sang a little, yawned a lot and he wouldn't smile. I tried everything to get him to smile, but he wouldn't. The songs were cute and he even said a little part "We learned to say and spell many of the colors."

Meg's dance recital "A Secret Garden"

Meg was so darling and the recital was very good! It was the story of The Secret Garden.
Meg was so excited to wear makeup (hence the closeup picture). She was a butterfly and her costume was beautiful.

Sam's 17th Birthday

We had to have a 30 minute birthday because Sam had to leave to his hockey game. We had dinner in four different shifts because everyone couldn't get there on time. Some people came after Sam had left and we celebrated without him. Oh, well!

Will told Sam that he looked weird because he looked like Scott. So we asked Will if Scott looked weird. Will said, "no, but two Scott's is weird." Now everytime he sees Sam he calls him Scott.

Mother's Day

I Love Mother's Day because that means I'm a mother and I have the best kids ever!


Lucky me! I have this cute Grandma's brag book and beautiful earrings and bracelet.

All the children chipped in and bought me these "surprise" Teva's. It's amazing how they were able to pick out exactly what I wanted. They were even the perfect size!

Bubbles

Meg and Will were in the tub and I was trying to make dinner. I turned on the jets because Ada had spilled some body wash in the tub. I heard them calling me and I didn't answer quick enough and the callng became louder and a little more paniced. I quickly went in and the bubbles were coming over the tub.

Mom's/Grandma's 80th Birthday

She was surprised with 80 candles that she had to blow out.

We all chipped in and gave her a mothers ring. It had four birthstones in it for all four children. Rick - ruby, Brad - garnet, Julie - sapphire, Jill - Citrine

Meg's Baptism

Meg was baptized on May 2, 2009.

Meg in her beautiful white dress. It was the one I wanted her to choose. The lady at the store told me that this dress was orignally designed for ballerinas at a production at the conference center. After I told Meg that story she said she wanted that dress. My strategy worked!

The day after the baptism. I forgot to take pictures of those who attended so I decided this was my only option. Meg had many people who attended and love her.
